Lt. Colonel Stephen O. Kornitzer

Brief Biographical Sketch

Lieutenant Col Kornitzer is the commander of Air Force ROTC Det 115 at the University of Connecticut.   He recently served as the Chief of Training at Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), Hickam AFB Hi where he was responsible for establishing training, qualification and certification standards for PACAF’s eight operational flying wings.  He is a command pilot with more than 4,000 flight hours in the C-17 and C-141.  Lt Col Kornitzer earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA in Military Management from Touro University.
